«Resine» Colours, images, words. 1972-2015 will open on Saturday, February 6 at 11am in the temporary exhibition room of the Museo D’Arte di Palazzo Gavotti. An exhibition dedicated to one hundred and seventy numbers, to forty three years of life, to more than sixteen thousand pages of poetry, fiction, non-fiction, memoirs, images and testimonies of the magazine «Resine», one of the longest presences in the Italian culture magazine panorama.
Founded back in 1972 by Adriano Guerrini, poet, literary critic and professor of the High School of Classics “Chiabrera” of Savona, the quarterly magazine of Savona has been an important and long-lasting reality in the local culture, which was able to assume national importance and grandeur. The exhibition was curated by Patrizia Peirano and Carmen Cona, for the release of the special-catalog, edited by Silvio Riolfo Marengo in collaboration with Pier Luigi Ferro, which summarizes and traces back the good and the bad of such a meaningful experience.
Packed with over a hundred paintings, sculptures, ceramics and graphics (works, among others, by Vincenzo Accame, Nanni Balestrini, Enrico Baj, Roberto Bertagnin, Hsiao Chin, Raffaele Collina, Sergio Dangelo, Filippo De Pisis, Farfa, Agenore Fabbri , Giovanni Fontana, Lucio Fontana, GRAL, Asger Jorn, Lele Luzzati, Arturo Martini, Milena Milani, Ivos Pacetti, Pierpaolo Pasolini, Pellizza da Volpedo, Eso Peluzzi, Arnaldo Pomodoro, Saba Telli, Aligi Sassu, Raimondo Sirotti, Ernesto Treccani) the collection is made up of photographs, documents, memorabilia and rare manuscripts that testify to the history of the magazine and its link to the figure of Camillo Sbarbaro. In fact, the name of the magazine was taken from the verses in first collection of the latter.
The exhibition, with free entry, will be open to the public until March 20, 2016, according to the visiting hours of the Musem and the Pinacoteca Civica.
