These days the rooms of the Savona Ceramics Museum are changing their appearance to make room for the extraordinary works of Sandro Lorenzini. Over twenty unpublished sculptures, conceived when all of us were isolated in our homes due to the lockdown and created the following year in the Ernan Design Studio, they blend harmoniously with the artist’s historical works.
The visitor can thus make a journey into the world of figures created by Lorenzini, a poetic and expressive universe in which myth and religion, alchemy and literature, theater and nature, but above all angels and demons, creatures find their place, fascinating and inscrutably born from the imagination of an intellectual artist to whom the city of Savona owes a lot.
We are waiting for you to inaugurate together the exhibition Lorenzini sculptor of the Earth. From Savona to the world: for the occasion, on Thursday 27th October the museum will be exceptionally open from 7pm to 8.30pm.
